Create a New Calendar

Calendar comes with two calendars already created for you, the Home calendar and the Work calendar. You can create new calendars as needed. For example, you can create a calendar specifically for sports or for family events.

If you have set up an iCloud account on your Mac and turned on the Calendar feature, Calendar stores your calendars in your iCloud account. If you have not set up an iCloud account or not turned on the Calendar feature, Calendar stores your calendars on your Mac. You can also store your calendars in other online accounts.

Create a New Calendar

In Calendar, click File.
