Connect to an OS X Network

If you use your Mac mini in a workplace that has a network using OS X Server, you can log on to the network so that you can use resources such as the Internet connection, shared folders, and network printers.

To log on to an OS X network, you need to know your username and your password. You may also need to know which server to log on to. Normally, you get this information from the network administrator. The network administrator may connect your Mac mini to the network for you. If not, follow the instructions in this section.
