Install an Application from the App Store

Your Mac mini comes with many useful applications already installed, such as Safari for browsing the web, Mail for reading and sending email, and iTunes for enjoying music and video.

To get your work or play done, you will most likely need to install other applications on your Mac mini. You can install applications in three ways: by downloading them from Apple’s App Store, as described in this section; by downloading them from other websites and then installing them, as described in the next section; or by installing them from a CD or DVD, also described in the next section.

Click App Store () on the Dock.
