Give Commands Using the Menu Bar and Toolbar

The easiest ways to give commands in OS X are by using the menus and the toolbar. The menu bar at the top of the window shows the Apple menu (9781118461976-ma001.tif) on the left followed by the menus for the active application. Any open window can have a toolbar, usually across its top but sometimes elsewhere in the window.
