Burn Files to a CD or DVD

If you attach a SuperDrive or an equivalent external optical drive to your Mac mini, you can copy files to a CD or DVD. The process of creating a CD or DVD is called burning.

A CD or DVD is a useful means of storing files and folders, either for transferring them to another computer or keeping a copy as a backup.

001 Insert a blank CD or blank DVD in the optical drive connected to your Mac mini.

A dialog opens asking what you want to do with the disc.
