Rather than creating playlists manually as described in the previous section, you can have iTunes automatically create playlists for you. These playlists are called Smart Playlists.

All you have to do is set up the conditions for the Smart Playlist. iTunes then creates the playlist for you and automatically updates it when you add songs to your library or remove songs.
