Set Up iTunes Match
iTunes Match is a feature that enables you to put your songs online so that you can play them from iTunes on any Mac or PC or from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. At this writing, iTunes Match costs $24.99 per year in the United States and similar sums in the other countries in which it is available.
After you set up iTunes Match, iTunes scans the songs in your library. For those songs available from the iTunes Store, iTunes Match makes high-quality copies available online. For those songs not available from the iTunes Store, iTunes Match uploads the songs from your computer to your account.
