Add Sidebar Items Using HTML in a Text Widget
Among the many widgets WordPress themes offer is one innocuously titled Text. And, yes, you can use it to show, say, a favorite quote or a bio about yourself in a sidebar. But you also can use it to insert more complex additions that use HTML.
Like most other widgets, the Text widget can be used multiple times simultaneously in your sidebars.
