Use Sticky Posts to Control Page Content
You can make your blog’s home page partly static and partly dynamic, or changing, thanks to sticky posts. Just mark one or more posts as sticky, and it or they stay at the top of your front page, with your latest blog post right after them. Sticky posts are a great way to welcome readers or announce policies.
