Use a Static Page as Your Home Page
You can give your site an entirely different feel by making your front page a static page, rather than the usual reverse-chronological presentation of blog posts. When people go to your domain, they see photos, text, or whatever else you want to display.
Use a Static Page as Your Home Page
Click Pages in the left menu bar.
Click Add New.
The Add/Edit Page panel opens.
Type Home in the title box.
Click Save ...
