Write and Publish a Page

Unlike many blog platforms, WordPress allows you to write and publish pages. Pages are static, meaning they do not change as you add posts. Most themes make pages always accessible from your blog’s home page.

The initial installation of the WordPress software (or blog registration at WordPress.com) by default includes one page. WordPress also lets you make child or subpages of pages.
