Getting the Most from Measurement Results

We have to admit it: we are fans of 360-degree feedback, especially when it is used to support performance development. Done well, it can provide access to reinforcing praise, constructive criticism, and developmental suggestions that people otherwise may not receive. It can be a low-cost, high-impact process that adds significant value to both individuals and organizations. And yet few measurement tools are quite as likely to evoke a weary sigh in us as 360s. This is because no other measurement results are probably quite so open to being so utterly unused as 360-degree feedback.
