The printing in this book is remarkably good for a book of its type, but there’s nothing like having an original print with which to compare your own work, to assess issues like contrast, shadows and highlights, to look at sharpness and sharpening, and other details best seen in a good sized print.

To this end, and remembering the late Fred Picker’s Example Prints, I am making the following print offer:

Pick any* four images from the book and I will make 8.5 X 11 prints (1 inch border), on Harman FBAL gloss paper, each image in a mylar envelope, shipping included, air mail, anywhere in the world. Price in Canadian Dollars.

Images will be signed, they are printed on my Canon iPF 5000. Each is accompanied by an information sheet. Use the images as examples or frame them as you wish.

*there are a few images in the book which for a variety of technical reasons would not make ideal example prints. Should that happen I will contact you for an alternate choice.

This offer is open to anyone, however I will not offer a price for fewer prints because of practicalities in shipping—it’s 4 or none. Should you choose to split an order with a friend though, I won’t know. Specify prints by title and page number.
