Appendix A: Configuration Files

You can export the current state of your base station’s configuration to a file that can be imported later, to the same base station or to a different one. This is useful when you want to create a model configuration with the same network name, password, and other details, and then use it to configure many base stations.

To export a configuration:

  1. In AirPort Utility for Mac, select the base station and click Edit.
  2. Choose File > Export Configuration File.
