Since you’ve bought this book, I assume you’ve already made the decision to upgrade to Mavericks and don’t need convincing that it’s worth your time and money. However, I would like to call attention to some of the biggest changes in Mavericks that you have to look forward to (or, in some cases, get used to).

Apple has a long list of new Mavericks features on this Web page, and I won’t reiterate them all here. The ones that, for me, make the most compelling argument to upgrade are the following:
