Work with Windows in a VMware Fusion Virtual Machine

In general, you need no special knowledge to run Windows in a Fusion virtual machine, but a few procedures may not be entirely obvious, so I cover them here.

Right-Clicking in Fusion

If you have a mouse or trackball with two or more buttons, the right button should work as a right click (producing a contextual menu) within Windows, as you'd expect. If you have a one-button Apple mouse, you can Control-click to get a right click. If you're using a MacBook or MacBook Pro, you can perform a right click using the trackpad, as long as it's configured properly. (Read Right-Clicking, p. 7, for complete details.)
