Chapter 2. Learn the Basics of Screen Sharing

Screen sharing literally gives you a window into a remote computer, allowing you to see and interact with that computer as if you were sitting in front of it. The remote screen appears within a window in an application (whether a Web browser or a standalone remote-control program) or fills your local screen. Sharing a screen becomes useful in four general cases:
