Sadly, a time may come when your iPhone starts behaving so badly that even the fixes and preventative tips in the previous section fail to have a sufficient positive effect.
Such serious symptoms include:
Frequent crashes or freezes that are not remedied by restarting your iPhone.
An unaccountably large Other section in the graph depicting the iPhone’s hard drive usage, as seen at the bottom of the iPhone’s Summary tab in iTunes.
Failure of an iPhone restart. Instead of going to the Home screen, it halts at the Apple logo or restarts itself again (and again, ad infinitum).
