We embarked on our journey to understand IMS with the definition as it stands with Release 7 of the 3GPP standards. The evolution continues as 3GPP progresses with the work items in Release 8. Let’s take a peek at some of the areas that are currently being worked on that will help shape newer features in this architecture.
