Chapter 16. Desired Configuration Management

Desired Configuration Management (DCM) is another exciting new feature of Configuration Manager (ConfigMgr) 2007. Using DCM enables you to monitor, report on, and take action regarding configuration of your managed systems. Unlike the Desired Configuration Monitoring feature pack for Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003, Microsoft has completely integrated DCM into ConfigMgr.
