Troubleshooting Windows 8.1 OMA-DM Devices

If you are used to the extensive logging provided with a full ConfigMgr client, you may be disappointed with how little logging OMA-DM managed Windows 8.1 offers.

To find more information about the enrollment process of the device from Event Viewer, look under Windows Logs -> Applications and Services Logs -> Microsoft -> Windows -> System Settings -> Operational.

The company portal has its own log files, SSPLog*.log. These are located in the %SystemDrive%\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.CompanyPortal_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState folder.
