Managing Mobile Device Settings
Perhaps the most common business reason for implementing mobile device management is to ensure that the necessary security settings (password settings) are enabled on mobile devices. This can be achieved by utilizing ConfigMgr’s settings management feature.
Each management technology (Exchange ActiveSync, in-depth management, and Windows Intune/ConfigMgr hybrid management) supports different selections of the available settings. Exchange ActiveSync has the most limited set of potential settings, although it includes the most commonly used password settings.
