MDM Prerequisites
Managing modern mobile platforms such as iOS, Windows Phone 8.x, and Windows 8.1 within ConfigMgr requires completing various prerequisites to integrate with Windows Intune for mobile device management. This section explains those items required before you can create the Windows Intune subscription and install the Windows Intune Connector site system role.
Shown in Table 7.1, three of the four modern mobile platforms available for mobile management have prerequisites. Some of these prerequisites are required to enable management of the mobile platform and some are only recommended, meaning they could be done later or in an alternate way.
