Reviewing SMSTS.log

This is the master and authoritative log file for task sequence execution; it exists on the system where the task sequence is running or has previously run. Nearly all troubleshooting efforts should start with an in-depth review of this log file. The log is moved around several times during the execution of a task sequence but is most commonly found in X:\Windows\Temp\SMSTSLog while in the Windows PE portion of the task sequence before the Setup Windows and Configuration task or %windir%\ccm\logs\SMSTSLog while in the Windows portion of the task sequence after the Setup Windows and Configuration task. If a task sequence finishes successfully, the log file is located in %windir%\ccm\logs.
