Virtual Hard Disks and Windows To Go
Two new scenarios added to OSD in ConfigMgr 2012 R2 and SP 1 respectively are the ability to support Windows deployment to virtual hard disks (VHDs), and creation of Windows To Go (WTG) media. Both are slight variations on where the operating system is deployed and how it is used. The process is essentially the same, with several twists to account for the different requirements and unique destinations involved.
