New Built-In Task Sequence Variables
In addition to new task types, ConfigMgr 2012 SP 1 and R2 introduce a handful of new built-in task sequence variables. As with the built-in variables that shipped with RTM, these new variables come in two flavors: read-only and writable.
The new read-only variables provide some information about the task sequence itself and are used to make conditional choices during the task sequence. Read-only is indicated by an initial underscore in the name of the variable.
