Cross-Platform Agent Communication

System Center 2012 Configuration Manager has always used HTTP traffic for clients to communicate with their MPs and DPs. The cross-platform agent uses the same method that the Windows-based agents use—port 80 for HTTP communication, and port 443 for HTTPS communication.
