Cross-Platform Agent Components
The cross-platform agent would not be very useful without a set of meaningful components to manage the non-Windows machine. Microsoft understands this, and includes a limited set of the Windows-based agent components. This limited set still has considerable functionality and provides more than just the basics. This set enables you to retrieve the hardware inventory and the installed applications, and find out when the machine drifts out of compliance with certain settings.
