Using App-V Virtual Environments

You can use App-V’s virtual environment functionality to define App-V connection groups in ConfigMgr; these are the follow-up to the dynamic suite composition (DSC) functionality previously available in App-V. Defining interaction between two or more applications using DSC includes editing the OSD file to add a reference to the GUID of the other application, which is error-prone.

Applications residing in the same connection group can share the file system and Registry on client computers, enabling them to interact with each other.
