Many old-timers may recall a time when you installed the Software Update Services feature pack in Systems Management Server (SMS) 2.0. Software updates are now as core to the product as a steering wheel is to a car; there’s no sense in having one without the other. The latest release of ConfigMgr takes what has been core to the product since SMS 2003 and improves its scalability and flexibility.
