Setting SMSTSPreferredAdvertID
Chapter 6, “What’s New in Operating System Deployment,” discusses how you could set the value of the SMSTSPreferredAdvertID task sequence variable. You could use the Set_SMSTSPreferredAdvertID.vbs VBScript in a prestart command to set this variable. It prompts the user for the deployment ID.
