Beginning with the 2007 release, System Center Operations Manager (OpsMgr) has focused on end-to-end (E2E) service management. OpsMgr achieves end-to-end service management primarily with the distributed application feature, the subject of this chapter. OpsMgr also includes E2E service management in other areas, such as
