Monitoring SQL Replication
The status of the SQL replication between sites is essential for a System Center 2012 Configuration Manager environment and can be monitored using the ConfigMgr console. This is important because a consistent state of global data and replicated site data within the entire hierarchy is required for a healthy infrastructure. It ensures that the same information of global data is available on each primary site, a subset of global data is on each secondary site, and that site data is replicated to the CAS (for additional information, see Chapter 3).
To monitor SQL replication, select the Monitoring workspace, and open the Database Replication node, as displayed in Figure 21.16.
