SQL Replication
Prior to System Center 2012 Configuration Manager, replication of data between sites occurred using a file-based replication model. This mechanism has changed to SQL replication, as introduced in Chapter 3, “Looking Inside Configuration Manager.” You need to monitor the status of SQL replication and generate alerts when there are replication issues; the following sections discuss these activities.
