Performance Best Practices
A properly tuned report begins with a properly designed query. If you find that a report or reports run slowly, start by investigating the core query. There will be cases in which you cannot tune the report query to perform any faster. In that event, use report caching or report snapshots depending on the user requirements. Another excellent technique is implementing report subscriptions to run at times when the ConfigMgr database server is underutilized.
