Report Timeout Values

A common issue that surfaced with ConfigMgr legacy reporting was timeouts for long-running reports, or for reports that returned too many rows. Using SSRS instead of ASP reporting gives you the ability to configure report timeout values on a system level and tune timeout values on a per-report basis. To modify this setting on the system level, browse to Report Manager, and then Site Settings; by default, this value is set to 1800 seconds. You can override the report time-out parameter on a per-report basis by navigating to Report Manager -> Report Properties and selecting Processing Options; then modify the Report Timeout setting.
