SSRS supports .NET, VBScript expressions, and Visual Basic (VB) 6.0 functions. As a report developer, you need to become familiar with the more common functions and expressions. Table 18.3 shows the left column as a VB function, followed by a description and an example as used in SSRS. Using the IIF function (also known as the Immediate If) as an example, the condition is evaluated for a True or False result. If True, it returns the portion immediately following the condition; if False, it returns the statement following the second comma.
