Here are some key interactive features of Reporting Services:

Report parameters: Adding parameters to reports allow users to select specific values when the report is processed, filtering the information represented in the report. This is accomplished by passing the selected parameter to the query used by the report. For example, a user could provide the name of a specific security update via a parameter list, and use that to display a list of computers that have and have not received a particular update. Report parameters are useful in helping both report authors and users make a single report more flexible and versatile.
