Criterion Types

There are six different criterion types used in ConfigMgr queries, all serving the purpose of narrowing the amount of data returned by a query. Although all criterion types are used to limit data, each has a different function:

Null value: This criterion type compares an attribute to null. One such use of this criterion type would be to search for devices where the AD Domain Name value is unknown.

To search for devices where the value is missing, the criteria can be set to Is NULL. Inversely, the criteria can also search for where the value is present (or Is Not NULL).
