Configuring Alert Subscriptions

Alert subscriptions allow you to designate users to receive emails when a malware breakout (or similar event) occurs, provided you have configured email notification. You can specify multiple email addresses for each subscription you create (separating each email address using a semi-colon), and the subscription can contain one or more alert criteria. To configure alert subscriptions, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Monitoring workspace.

2. In the navigation tree, select Overview -> Alerts -> Subscriptions.

3. On the ribbon bar, select Create Subscription, and give the subscription a descriptive name that is no more than 255 characters, such as Endpoint Protection Alert when Malware Detected.
