Configuring Alerts for Endpoint Protection

Alerts, introduced in Chapter 8, “The Configuration Manager Console,” let you know when specific security events have occurred in your hierarchy, and can notify your administrative users when a malware infection is detected. Alerts display in the Alerts node of the Monitoring workspace, and optionally can be emailed to specified users. How they are alerted to these security events is up to you to decide and configure accordingly.
