Configuring the SUP for Endpoint Protection
If you want to use the SUP role within ConfigMgr to synchronize and use software update ADRs to automatically download and deploy definition updates to your Endpoint Protection clients, you must configure it accordingly. The SUP role allows you to synchronize with Microsoft Windows Update on a predefined recurring schedule to enable you to protect your client computers with the latest antimalware definition and engine updates in an automated way.
