Rules

Rules are similar to the rules that you create in compliance settings, as described in Chapter 10. Rules are the checks that the WUA uses to determine if an update is required on a system and verify that an update has been successfully installed.

The rules workspace lists all previously saved rules. Note that just because a rule is used by an update does not mean it is saved. You must explicitly save a rule before it appears in this workspace; there are no default saved rules in SCUP.
