Associating Collections with Distribution Point Groups
Another new feature in ConfigMgr 2012 is the ability to associate a collection with a DPG. When distributing content, you can target a collection associated with a DPG. This in turn targets all DPs in the DPG with the content.
For example, you have a collection named All Devices in Europe (which obviously contains all devices in Europe). You also have a DPG, All Europe DPs, that is associated with the All Devices in Europe collection. Next, you have an application that needs to be deployed to All Devices in Europe.
