Distribution Point Groups

Although DPGs are also included in ConfigMgr 2007, they deserve a fresh look in ConfigMgr 2012. DPG configurations are global data that can be managed with scopes to limit visibility of DPGs to different admin roles, if wanted. If you worked with ConfigMgr 2007, you may also be familiar with the Copy Packages Wizard used for packages, update packages, OS images, and more. In ConfigMgr 2012, you no longer need the Copy Packages Wizard: DPGs to the rescue.
