Updating Content on Distribution Points

When you modify source content, you must update content on DPs to make it available to clients. A common misconception is that you also must update DPs if you modify metadata for the object. For example, if you modify the command-line arguments of a program or deployment type, you do not need to update DPs (unless of course the source was updated with new files).
