Deploying Packages and Applications
Chapter 11 described how to create packages, and Chapter 12 described how to create applications. So far, this chapter has discussed how to create collections and distribute content to wanted distribution points. Now you are ready to deploy software. Both applications and packages use the Deploy Software Wizard. As you will see in this section, some options will only be available for one type or the other. Follow these steps to deploy a ConfigMgr 2012 package or application:
1. In the console, navigate to Software Library -> Overview -> Packages and select the wanted package. (You can select the wanted program as well.) Alternatively, navigate to the Applications node and select an application.
