Summary

This chapter discussed how to import potential clients into ConfigMgr by using discovery methods or manually importing them. It also discussed the requirements of these potential clients for installing the ConfigMgr client, and the different methods available to install the client. After the client is installed, it needs to assign itself to a ConfigMgr site, and it needs to stay healthy. This chapter also discussed using different client device and user settings, which enables to define ConfigMgr settings on a granular level. The chapter ended with a discussion of how to manage the client, and how to leverage WOL using ConfigMgr to wake up clients.
