Using the Resource Explorer

The Resource Explorer is executed from the ConfigMgr console. It provides insight into hardware inventory, software inventory, and file collections taken from the client, within a single console. Here’s how to start the Resource Explorer:

1. In the ConfigMgr console, click Assets and Compliance Library to open the workspace. Then select Devices or locate the device in one of the available collections.

2. Select the device for which you want to see information, and select Start -> Resource Explorer from the ribbon bar or right-click context menu.
