Windows Server Update Services
You must install Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) SP 2 on the site system that is to be configured as the software update point (SUP). Specific to System Center 2012 Configuration Manager hierarchies, the requirement for WSUS has changed from ConfigMgr 2007; you must install and configure a SUP on the CAS before you can enable the SUP role on child primary sites.
